This report demonstrates the value of Fish and Wildlife-Related Recreation to the American people by providing information on participation and expenditures for fishing, hunting and wildlife watching. The national survey is conducted every five years at the request of the state fish and wildlife agencies to measure the importance of wildlife-based recreation to the American people.
