Certification Costs (Member Rate)
The costs of certification include your agreement fees which are paid annually and cover your entire product line for that program, inspection fees, and travel expenses for the inspector.
Agreement Fees

- Boat OR Yacht Certification Program $200.00
- Boat AND Yacht Certification Program $300.00
- Trailer Certification Program $200.00 for NMMA Members
Inspection Fees
$150.00/hour
*Amount of inspection hours vary depending on size and number of boats being certified.
Travel Expenses
Varies on plant location.
Important notes on cost
-Boats and Yachts in a same family more than likely will not require the same amount of inspection time, i.e. if you build and 20, 22, and 24 foot boat in the same family, the first boat inspected will require the most time, each thereafter requiring only minor inspection time.
