Promote Boating
NMMA will increase participation in boating and reduce attrition from boating by creating consensus and cooperation throughout the experience chain to overcome barriers to boating i.e., perceived value, ease of access, etc.), identifying and educating new target markets, expanding access in the broadest sense, promoting the "boating lifestyle" through all affordable means, and maximizing the value of boat shows to the industry.
Improve Customer Satisfaction
NMMA will educate, train and certify at all levels of the boating experience chain (cooperatively where appropriate) to assist the industry in continuously improving customer satisfaction with the product experience, the purchase experience, the delivery experience, the use experience and the after-sale service experience and measure improvement on an ongoing basis.
Public Policy Advocacy on Behalf of the Boating Industry
NMMA will be a proactive leader on public policy issues that affect boating and the boating industry, protecting and defending boating, the industry, and the environment, increasing member participation in advocacy efforts, and effectively communicating threats and opportunities and positioning the industry and boaters as responsible stewards of our resources.
Leadership and Vision
NMMA will provide the leadership necessary to unite the industry around our vision; together, making boating the #1 choice in recreation; facilitating more participation, communication, investment and issue resolution among industry stakeholders.
