The recreational boating community is committed to safety and boater education to ensure that those on and near the water are kept out of harms way.
Dealers, marinas, and manufacturers work alongside the U.S. Coast Guard and state-based agencies including Departments of Natural Resources (DNR) to ensure on-water safety regulations are appropriately enforced on the water.
Top Policy Priorities
- Coordinate with and support state-based agencies to establish boater safety and education guidelines for the recreational boating community.
- Encourage and support the promotion of boater safety education and training to decrease boating accidents and ensure the water is safe for all.
