BTMA is composed of boat trailer and trailer component manufacturers that are active members of NMMA. These manufacturers are dedicated to improving the boat trailer industry and boat trailering experience through:
• Third-party trailer certification to Federal Regulations and Industry Standards
• Development of consumer literature on boat trailering
• Industry partnerships
BTMA addresses technical standards and state and regulatory issues for boat trailers through NMMA’s Boat Trailer Certification program and involvement with other agencies and organizations involved in trailer safety.
Only NMMA members producing trailers, trailer components and accessories are eligible for BTMA membership. There are no additional costs to join BTMA.
