U.S. Seeks Input on Trade Barriers and Opportunities with the United Kingdom
The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) is researching trade-related barriers affecting exports of U.S. small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to the United Kingdom. NMMA has been asked to share the marine industry’s experience and is encouraging all applicable members to weigh-in.
The U.S. government is currently leading the United States-United Kingdom Trade and Investment Working Group, which is assessing ways to strengthen trade and investment ties and provide commercial continuity for U.S. and UK businesses as the UK prepares to leave the European Union. It's critically important to share barriers and opportunities with U.S. trade officials now to help prepare for a smooth transition. Please submit all comments directly to Amanda Lawrence at [email protected].
If you have questions about the potential U.S.-U.K. trade agreement or opportunities to export to the UK and abroad, please contact NMMA Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Legal Affairs, Nicole Vasilaros at [email protected] or NMMA Senior Director of Export Development, Julie Balzano at [email protected].
