Help us make marine manufacturing extra visible to the public by posting about your Manufacturing Day experiences on social media using the official Manufacturing Day hashtag, #MfgDay19. Missed the boat? While October 4 is 2019’s official Manufacturing Day, you can host an event on any date in October that works best. NMMA encourages every manufacturer to get involved; here are a few ideas for an event:

• Highlight the economic importance of the boating industry by inviting local lawmakers and decision makers to your facility. Contact Erica Crocker, [email protected], for assistance in getting elected officials on board.
• Promote recreational marine manufacturing as a career and job choice, extending invitations to students and job seekers.
• Demonstrate support of the local community, inviting workers’ families in for lunch and a tour.
• All of the above!

All events should be registered on www.mfgday.com, regardless of the day they are scheduled, in order to take advantage of the variety of free event planning and execution resources provided.
