Sold Out Discover Boating Minneapolis Boat Show Opens Today
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the annual Discover Boating® Minneapolis Boat Show, in partnership with Progressive® Insurance, opens today and runs through Sunday at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The sold-out exhibit hall will showcase 600 new boats spanning 400,000 square feet – the largest collection of freshwater boats in the country.
To attract boaters and engage the wave of new boating enthusiasts, the Minneapolis Boat Show has an extensive lineup of activations, including the popular Land of 10,000 Lakes oasis featuring daily live music, local bites and beverages, the Antique & Classic Boat Display, and “boating 101” courses at the Fred’s Shed How-To Center, presented by Progressive. Innovation Way is returning to the show, displaying the year’s most innovative products, including the 2023 Minneapolis Innovation Award winners honored last night during the show’s Sneak Preview event.
Boat show marketing is well underway reaching the masses in the region, helping to drive ticket sales, highlight the benefits of the boat life, and put a spotlight on the extensive product that will be on display, including through the show’s new Discover Boating Boat Finder for show goers to shop 24/7.
