Alumacraft Welcomes Minnesota State Senator to St. Peter Facility

Last week, Minnesota State Senator Nick Frentz (Senate District 18) visited BRP’s Alumacraft operation in St. Peter, Minn. During the tour, Sen. Frentz met with members of Alumacraft’s senior staff to discuss key issues impacting the recreational boating industry.

Recreational boating generates more than $6 billion of economic impact annually in Minnesota and supports over 25,000 jobs.

During the visit, Scott Wilkings, Alumacraft’s Director of Operations, highlighted recent expansions at Alumacraft and the need for continued workforce development, “We’ve completed numerous expansion projects in recent years and are continuing to grow the business. With these advancements comes a need to attract a new generation of skilled manufacturing professionals. We appreciate the continued support from our legislators as we continue to adapt to 21st century workforce challenges.”
